Our Mission :

Our goal is to satisfy the consumer who wants to eat healthy every day by offering him a first-class service and a vast range of prepared meals, controlled quality , such as homemade ready-cooked dishes.

Proud of its distribution marketing and 4 production plants, Aliments Martel Inc. covers Quebec region, East of Ontario and Maritimes, the market sector of retailing and institutional food service.

The quality :

At Aliments Martel Inc, we offer quality products. We have a Quality Assurance department, who sees over the quality of our products from raw material through finish product.

The Assurance Quality department has the responsibility to verify and control raw material, production procedure, shipping, labelling and finish products, always respecting legislation of Canadian Food Inspection Agency and internal quality requirements .

Competent and qulified staff members, using our equipment and methods, carry out Physicochemical, organoleptic and microbiological tests, to assure security, compliance, and quality of all our products.

The distribution network

Our four plant each employ a district manager whose main task is to oversee sales and distribution, and inform their supervisors who in turn relay the information to its staff.

The Quebec region is divided into many sub district distribution. For example , the St-Romuald’ plant distribution covers Quebec East, from Trois-Rivieres to North of Sept Iles, and from Quebec to South of Gaspe, and also cover Abitibi Region.

18 sales representatives share 18 different paths (grouping serveral clients). Total distance of 20 000 km to assist 3000 clients once or twice weekly depending on their needs.

Our distribution service is unique by being able to reach our sells representative in a spur of the moment . It is distinguish by loading management for
multi-temperature and is able to transport frozen, refrigerated and room temperature products.

Invoicing is fast and efficient done on sight on delivery by the sales’representative. Each truck has a vaste variety of products to be presented to the consumer by the salesman which ables him to discover new Martel products that are available to them.

        Splitting the network dependent on saint-romuald’s factory:

            - NORTH WEST : Lac Saint-Jean, Saguenay, 1 TRUCK.
            - EAST : Québec, Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré, Baie-Comeau, 13 TRUCKS.
            - NORTH : Sept-îles, Natashquan, 1 TRUCK.
            - LOWER Saint-Laurent : Gaspésie, 3 TRUCKS.
